About me
Behind the work
I’m Aqib, a product and web designer with 4+ years of experience. Before I got into design, I spent most of my free time taking photos.
2017
In 2017, I started taking nature and street photos with a simple Android phone. I’d often take the same photo a few times, trying to get the framing right. I enjoyed finding interesting things in ordinary places, and it made me pay more attention to small details.
2020–2023
I started graphic design in 2020, taking small freelance projects for content creators. Later, I joined
94 Productions, where I moved from graphic design into UI projects. I was also studying Computer Science, which helped me better understand how software is built.
2024
In 2024, I joined
Infusible Coders. I worked on ERP systems for educational institutions and POS systems for businesses. There were different roles and a lot of screens to think through. Around that time, I also started learning Framer and building websites myself.
2025
In 2025, I joined
CreativeOS, my first time working at a product company. I started as a product designer, and it taught me a lot about how products are planned, built, and improved over time. As I gained more experience, I started leading design decisions across the platform and editor, working closely with the team and learning from real user feedback.
Now
I recently finished my time at CreativeOS. Right now, I’m working on freelance web and product design projects and looking for my next full-time role. I enjoy working directly with founders and being involved from the first conversation to the final design. Outside of work, I still take photos, explore new places, and read.
